I teach on a weekly basis, both at my own place and at the International School Geneva (Ecolint, LGB). All lessons are one-on-one, because I believe each student deserves 100% of my attention.
The courses are accessible to anyone motivated, beginner to advanced, regardless of age (young children from the age of six, only if they have a real interest in music).
I started studying music when I was six, (cello & theory), I'm a graduate of the Musician's Institute in Los Angeles, and have more than 30 years of teaching experience.
Books and Methods I Use
I use my own methods and exercises. I'm the author of a fine drumbook, Time Manipulation. I wrote a method suitable for beginners.
I also have a large collection of other good books - most of the ones that can be considered as standard - including over a hundred of books with CD, and a large number of DVDs, on all the main current styles: jazz, rock, funk, world, latin, afro-cuban, etc.
Equipment Used
The room is very well equipped: I have several drumsets (one is specially adapted to the size of small children), many quality cymbals, headphones to work with audio like in a studio situation, a recent computer (Apple - Macintosh) to work on sequences and to watch educational DVDs. It also allows the student to come with a USB key with songs to work on, and I am fully aware of the latest technologies.
Intensive Courses
I also offer five-day intensive courses.
Workshops and master-classes
I'm available for workshops and master-classes, and I'm willing to travel abroad. I can express myself in French and English.
